Abstract

This study examines the influence of mold temperature on the shrinkage of flat plastic products. By maintaining mold cooling temperatures from 10°C to 30°C, the shrinkage was significantly reduced compared to higher temperatures. Experiments were conducted using ABS plastic with mold temperatures ranging from 5°C to 90°C, analyzed using Moldex3D software. These findings enhance product quality and reduce production cycle times.
