Study on the Application of the Measurement and Inspection Module in the GOM Software to Verify Common Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing

This article studies the application of the GOM software's measurement module and the GOM Atos Compact Scan 8M 3D scanner in verifying geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T) on machined products. The process was applied to assess products from the Metal Cutting Skills exam, demonstrating high efficiency and rapid processing times. Results highlight the potential for applications in teaching and product quality assessment.
