Abstract

The study evaluates the effects of ultrasound frequency, treatment time, and solvents (water, 45% ethanol, 96% ethanol) on the phenolic content of Enhydra fluctuans L. Results showed that UAE at a frequency of 58 kHz, a treatment time of 20 minutes, and 45% ethanol as a solvent achieved the highest phenolic content (18.23 ± 2.28 mg GAE/g). The study suggests UAE combined with 45% ethanol is an effective method for extracting phenolics from Enhydra fluctuans L.
